Losheim reservoir leisure center

The Losheim reservoir leisure center is in the immediate vicinity of our hotel, around 330 m above sea level in a scenic low mountain range location. As many guests say, the most beautifully situated lake in south-west Germany belongs to the border triangle of Germany, France, Luxembourg and the Naturpark Saar-Hunsrück.

The reservoir is connected to the Saar-Hunsrück Climb and a dense network of premium trails "Traumschleifen Saar-Hunsrück"

Landscape

The 4.1 km long circular lake trail is asphalted and easily accessible all year round. The seasons can be experienced particularly intensively in the attractive park landscape around the lake. Several wooden sculptures, the "Bird-Water-Nature Path", the "Avenue of the Trees of the Year" as well as the charming change of landscape make up its special flair.

Swimming

The lake is an EU bathing water with high water quality. It is fed by the Losheimer stream. The water quality is regularly checked by the health department during the season. The child-friendly and quiet lido with a DLRG and DRK station is located in an idyllic bay. It has large sunbathing areas, a water slide, a diving platform in the lake and a beer garden.

Relaxation

The 5 ha big Four Seasons Parc is a paradise for garden lovers. The garden shop and the garden bistro are located in the entrance building.

• The Kneipp facility at the lake is considered to be the most beautiful in south-west Germany.
• Quiet zones and a small barefoot path complete the Kneipp offer.
  There is a 1.5 km long fishing zone on the western shore for anglers.
• The new, modern, year-round mini golf course can be reached via the entrance building to the Four Seasons Park.
• The pedal boat rental has 26 pedal boats and 2 aqua bikes.
• Water sports

In addition to swimming, the lake is popular for diving, sailing, surfing and canoeing.
